Terms, Conditions & Delivery Details

DELIVERY - WE ONLY SHIP IN THE UK MAINLAND.
Goods are sent by next working day courier service. Please allow 1-3 working days to process your order. Some items may have to bought in on a special order for you and may delay the order being shipped to you, but we will email to let you know when the order is placed subject to our terms and conditions as stated.


Most deliveries are set between 9am and 5.30pm, Monday to Friday and all parcels must be signed for by the card/account holder. If you are not in the courier will leave a card, they will not leave the goods at a different address or without your signature. You will only be charged once for delivery not per item. If you wish to track your parcel please e mail sales@cartechnology.net and ask for a tracking number then visit fed ex uk website.
Any delivery that is not able to be signed for due to card holder/person responsible for order not being in, will result in the products being returned to us for security reasons after two delivery attempts. There will be a charge levied to you as Fedex charge us for the return of £7.00. At this point we will contact you to re-arrange another delivery where a re-delivery charge equal to the original amount being levied. The order cannot be cancelled without prior arrangement and a cancellation fee will be applied. Any carriage charges originally applied are NON refundable if the goods have to refunded for any reason.

RETURNS & WARRANTY

We are committed to providing quality products and customer service, however on rare occasions products may be found to be faulty or defective and in keeping with our service commitment, we offer the following returns facilities: -
For a return authorisation please email to keep a record of our conversations to sales@cartechnology.net.  We will also need your orginal order reference.

When sending goods back please put a covering letter with details of the fault and include all packaging, instructions and accessories that may be at fault.We cannot accept liability for packages damaged during transit.
Proof of postage is not proof of delivery, therefore please use a recognised courier and make sure your goods are adequately insured. Any carriage charges involved in sending the goods back to us will not be refundable.

We will accept the return of faulty products for investigation & repair during the guarantee period but does not automatically mean that it will be replaced.

Suspect faulty Items will be sent to the respective manufacturers repair centre who will carry out the investigation and warranty repair if deemed to be a product fault. Please note : Some manufacturers DO NOT cover any transit costs or uplift the goods and may be chargable.

Replacements will only be issued if the item cannot be repaired in an acceptable time period ( Maximum 28 days)

Please Note : A standard charge of £25 plus vat for units that have no fault found on testing by our service agents applies. This is in addition to any carriage charges incurred in the transit of the item to and from the service agents.

RETURNS OF NON FAULTY ITEMS

Under the distance selling rules we are happy to take back any unwanted goods within our 7 day cooling off period from delivery as long as the goods have not been used or opened, returning to us at your own expense as stated previously.

Any items that have been used or opened will not be accepted back without a prior arrangement with us for credit or exchange due to the nature of the products we sell.

Items ordered in error are also treated as above.

Due to the nature of the electronic goods we sell,  they would then become technically used and therefor we would not be able to resell the items as new if they were returned to us after being removed from the packaging and or tried.

We would therefor respectfully ask you to double check compatibility and fitment prior to ordering from us.

EBAY OR CLEARANCE ITEMS

Any items sold as clearance or via ebay are stock clearance items and carry limited or no warranty. Each item will have its warranty specified and will have an accurate condition of operation. Our standard returns policy above will be applicable for items that carry a limited warranty. Carriage terms and conditions also apply to items being shipped at £9.99 rate via our courier.

Please allow upto 10 days delivery for any item being posted via Royal Mail.

A courier option will be available to small items also.

PAYMENT
We accept all major credit cards, debit cards and paypal - we will inform you by email if the card is not acceptable to our system.

Payments made by Paypal MUST be an address verified account.
No goods will be shipped to an unverified address and will result in the order being cancelled and any Paypal charges deducted from your refund ( if payment has automatically been sent)



GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

The following are terms and conditions for the sale of goods that will govern any contract that we enter into with you. Please read carefully.
These terms and conditions do not affect you statutory rights
Each order will be treated as an offer by you to purchase goods subject to these terms and conditions.
To order goods you must be at least 18 years old.
All goods are subject to availability, if we do not supply the goods for any reason we will refund any money already paid. However we will not compensate you for any other losses you suffer by non-supply of the goods.
All pictures and text on our website is for the sole purpose of giving an approximate description of the goods.
We aim to deliver goods within a stated delivery time, but this is sometimes outside of our control and we cannot be held responsible for consequential losses, costs or damages involved with a late delivery.
Delivered goods are your responsibility, if you delay accepting the delivery we will not be held responsible for any financial implications.
If goods arrive damaged you must inform us within 24 hours, if you do not we shall have no liability for goods said to be damaged on
delivery. If goods are returned under this clause and are discovered to be no fault found there will be a 25% plus carriage handling charge.
The price for the goods will be as stipulated at a time when you place the order, we are entitled to make adjustments to the price to take account of any increase in our suppliers prices, or due to an error or omission.
All prices are inclusive of VAT, but exclude delivery charges, which will be payable as indicated at the time of purchase.
Ownership of the goods will only pass to you on full payment.
We will supply goods that are free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of delivery only and subject to warranty conditions set out by individual product manufacturers.

No warranty will apply if the goods have been misused,incorrectly installed or in the case of speakers over driven as to cause failure.
The contract between us shall be governed by the laws of Scotland,England & Wales and any dispute will be resolved in the aforementioned courts.
These terms and conditions are subject to change without prior notice to you at any time.
